Asher and I were taking a quick bike ride in the drizzly rain this evening before the big hurricane is to come in, leaving us stuck in the house all weekend. We saw a really ominous set of dark, purple clouds in the distance, and I said, “Those are what the hurricane will look like tomorrow, but we’ll be safe in our house.” Asher quickly said, “I know because one time TROBO took me to see how thunder works.” He hasn’t played the Lightning story in a few months, and I confess not knowing whether he liked that story. Today I know the story was worth it, because it gave him a sense of calm about a potentially scary event. I was proud as a dad and as a co-creator of TROBO. – Chris
